The YDRRC is designed to address many of the problem areas encountered by younger, less experienced drivers. Crash avoidance, skid control, defensive driving, and visual scanning techniques are a few of the topics covered. In addition, professional instructors attempt to identify and reduce bad habits which often exist in less experienced drivers. Time is divided between interactive classroom activities and hands-on, in-car range driving experiences. Class starts at 8:30 a.m. usually ends at 1:00 p.m.
